About Ms. Erica
About the Blogger
Ms. Erica is a graduate of Loyola Marymount University’s School Counseling program (Class of ‘11). In addition, she was a Broadcasting major at San Francisco State University where she took many classes relating to new media technologies including blogging, viral video, website production, and writing. She has done public relations for non profits: Pets Are Wonderful Support (PAWS), Center for Asian American Media, Frameline: The San Francisco LGBTQ Film Festival, and Visual Communications. Her work in education includes working at Loyola Marymount University’s Theatre Arts department, College Summit, and Carson Senior High School.
Ms. Erica’s goals and aspirations is that she would love to be a full time college counselor at a high school, an admissions representative, and finding ways of using social networking and new tech to promote college-going cultures.
When she is not counseling, Ms. Erica enjoys sewing and reading books. For those of you who reviewed Ms. Erica’s college personal statement back in 2001, yes, she still does radio theatre.
